About Pathway
Advice from people who have made this journey themselves.
Pathway was started by people who left Accra to study abroad and know first-hand what it takes to get there. We stay beside every student, from the first conversation to the day they arrive on campus.
Why Pathway exists
We have sat where you are sitting. We started in Accra with a dream of studying abroad, a long list of questions and no one who had done it to ask. Some of us were refused at a visa interview before we were approved. Between us we have completed more than one graduate programme, and we lived on campus for years.
That is how we learned what the brochures leave out: which mistakes cost money, which cost a year, and which can end an application. Pathway exists so that you do not have to learn those lessons the hard way.
Applying abroad means choosing schools, meeting requirements that change from programme to programme, writing essays, paying fees in another currency and preparing for a visa interview, often while still in school, at home or at work. Some of you are finishing school. Others are working professionals who want to move into a new field, or go further in the one you are in. Whichever you are, the hardest part is often not knowing what is true, what is missing and what comes next.
Pathway puts all of it in one place. Each student gets an adviser who builds their shortlist, coaches their applications and prepares them for the visa, backed by a coordinator who keeps documents and deadlines moving. Everything we agree is written down in the student's account, where the family can follow it too.
Why you can trust our advice
We made the journey from Accra
We applied from Ghana, paid fees in another currency and worked through requirements that change from school to school.
We know the visa interview
Some of us were refused before we were approved. We know what goes wrong in that room, and how to prepare so you walk in ready.
We have studied at graduate level, more than once
Having completed more than one graduate programme, we can tell you what the work and the expectations are really like.
We lived the campus
We lived on campus for years: housing, costs, classes and daily life. We tell you what to expect, so arriving holds no surprises.
The wrong school, a missing document, a rushed application or a weak visa answer can cost a year and a lot of money. Our job is to help you avoid those mistakes. No adviser can guarantee admission, a scholarship or a visa, but you will go in informed and prepared.
How we work
Requirements checked, not guessed
Each programme on a shortlist is matched against admission requirements our team has verified, with the date we last checked.
Documents in one safe place
Students upload transcripts, results and test reports once. We review each one and say exactly what is missing.
Calls with your adviser
Book and join video calls inside your account. Notes and next steps land in your task list afterwards.
Email and WhatsApp
Reminders and links arrive by email, and you can chat with the team on WhatsApp or in the app.
Family can follow along
Parents and sponsors get their own sign-in with the access the student chooses: progress only, payments, or full view.
Built for phones and laptops
Light enough for mobile data in Ghana, and comfortable on a laptop when the whole family sits down together.
What we stand for
Honesty about your chances
We tell you what is realistic, even when it is not what you hoped to hear. No adviser can guarantee admission, a scholarship or a visa, and we never pretend otherwise.
Families kept informed
The people supporting a student can see progress and pay invoices, with the access the student chooses.
Care with your information
We collect only what your applications need. We do not collect financial documents, and we never sell your information.
